Chaidh mi-fhìn as Alix gu Dun-Eideann airson an Iar-chuairt dheireannach dhen Deasbad agus fhuair sinn troimhe dhan chuairt dheireannach a bha anns a’ Phàrlamaid! Bha sinn a’ Deasbad an aghaidh Sgoil Ghaidhlig Ghlaschu, airson a mholaidh Gur e Dòmhnall Trump an duine ceart airson an t-saoghal aig an àm seo. As deidh Deasbad uabhasach spòrsail, lorg sinn a-mach gun do bhuannaich sinn. Bha e sgoinneil. Bha sinn a’ bruidhinn air an reidio, thog iad dealbhan dhuinn agus chaidh sinn gu reception anns a’ Pharlamaid as deidh sin.

We have just returned from a trip to Edinburgh where we took part in the national schools Gaelic debate. We took part in the semi-finals against two girls from Lochaber and our debate was on the motion that more choices in this day and age makes us less satisfied than our parents and we won! The next day we spent our time preparing for the final debate and did some shopping. The final took place in the parliament building and was broadcast live on BBC Radio nan Gàidheal. It was a very good debate and it was fun and the judges must have thought so too because we won! It was very exciting, it was a very good experience and it really improved our speaking skills.
